Ann Nyberg Book Signing

The "Art" of Storytelling

    Sunday  |  November 22, 2016  |  2 PM

Cooper & Smith is pleased to welcome Connecticut news anchor Ann Nyberg, as she introduces and signs copies of her debut book, Slices of Life. Ann was eight years old when she received her first diary, a Christmas gift from her mother. The rest is history. Drawing on pages from that diary, Ann paints a portrait of her life in stories. She reflects on her childhood, life lessons, and the importance of living each day to the fullest. Books will be available for purchase. The event is free.

Ann Nyberg is WTNH-TV’s longest-serving anchor/reporter in station history, anchoring the 6 and 10 o’clock nightly newscasts. Ms. Nyberg, nominated for multiple Emmys, has interviewed the most famous and the everyday folks, all with  stories to tell. Other highlights include assignments to the communist country of Cuba and to the Vatican to cover Pope John Paul II. Ms. Nyberg has been voted “Best News Anchor” for a decade in Connecticut Magazine’s reader’s poll. She hosts her own show online (NYBERG), which she developed to share people’s stories with the masses in long format. Excerpts from the show can be seen twice a week at 10 and 11 p.m.
