A licensed, single engine pilot, Sheila Kramer draws inspiration from the landscapes and skies of her world travels.
 
She received her MFA from Kent State University and has been the recipient of numerous artist-in-residence awards, including with Tyrone Guthrie in Annaghmakerrig, Ireland; the BAU Institute in Otranto, Italy; the Edward Albee Foundation in Montauk, LI; the Saltonstall Foundation in Ithaca, New York; and Brisons Vior in Cornwall, England. Public collections of her work include the American Embassy Collection, D.C., the World Bank, D.C. and Fidelity Investments, NY.
